| WhiteDove Ministries May 2005 E-Newsletter WhiteDove Ministries May 2005 E-Newsletter FROM: Paul Keith & Wanda Davis Shawn Bolz, & Bob Jones Greetings friends, It was a prayer David echoed often — How long, O Lord? The early disciples asked, "will you at this time restore the Kingdom to Israel? It seems a common thread among many generations of God's people; we are constantly desiring to know "when" and "how long" it will be before God visits His people. That is a question many are asking today as well. The Lord made it plain, there are certain times seasons known only to the Heavenly Father. Those are reserved deep in His heart where only the Holy Spirit is given access. Nevertheless, when we broach a cross-road in God's time-line, the times and seasons are revealed through prophetic voices preparing God's people. Very often it is on a "need-to-know basis only." He only reveals those things in the precise moment that it is needed to be known. Like David our prayer is, Do return, O LORD; how long will it be? And be sorry for your servants. — Psalms 90:13. How long will it be before the prophetic future of God's people is realized? We are presently seeing evidence of fruitful promises coming full circle in a ten-year cycle. Many of the things sown in 1994/1995 are now coming to fruition. Restoration of the Heritage property in Charlotte, NC is a token of this reality. Exactly ten years ago this May, a group of us including Rick Joyner, Bob Jones, Reggie White and myself went to the Heritage property as it was being purchased by a Malaysian business group. We anointed the main property with oil and earnestly prayed for the recovery of this facility to the Kingdom of Heaven for the sake of the widow's mite. The Lord honored that request and has now redeemed that property for the benefit of God's people. It was once an object of great reproach but now reconciled to its original purpose and the advancement of God's kingdom. Additionally, in 1994 the Lord spoke very pointedly to a group of prophetic people gathered in Orange Beach, AL involving a new expression of outpouring that would be initiated in Pensacola, FL. We have written about this meeting in previous newsletters. (Click Here for More ) We highlight this again because of the importance of the things introduced in 1995 as they relate to our present circumstances. We are sensing that a fresh wave of the Spirit is upon us that will carry forward the Pensacola outpouring. Those original prophecies indicated that it would start in Pensacola but move 50 miles west. Mobile Bay, AL is precisely 50 miles from Brownsville Assembly of God Church. Without realizing the details of this prophetic blueprint, John Kilpatrick, former pastor of Brownsville Assembly, was moved by the Holy Spirit to organize a conference on Mobile Bay this June. We are very encouraged by the possibilities involving this gathering and the prospect for advancement. This Fathers Day will be ten years since the original Pensacola outpouring of revival... For information of his conference see: www.johnkilpatrick.org/gathering.htm Naturally, that is not to say that Brownsville will not continue to experience the expressions of revival that have been stewarded thus far. Only that now it will grow and extend. That is the heart of God for this generation. Divine multiplication, expansion and growth is essential for us to fulfill our end-time mandate. That is the way of the Kingdom. Wanda and I and WhiteDove Ministries are putting our full support behind brother John in this effort. Because of a prior commitment I am only going to be able to participate for the first two days as a show of support. We would also encourage others of like minded resolve to do likewise if so released by the Holy Spirit. This can be done by either participation in the conference or prayer support towards the complete fulfillment of God's desire in it. We believe this strategic adventure, when fully released, will not only impact Baldwin County, AL but also the Church at-large. That was certainly the case with the Pensacola revival. Four and a half-million people came from around the world to experience God and enjoy a season of awakening. We are in desperate need of God and a present expression of His quickening Presence. It is our prayer and expectation that something is imminent that will favorably impact this generation and set us on the course for a bountiful spiritual harvest. Warmest blessings of grace and favor, Paul Keith and Wanda Davis and the WhiteDove Team The Lighthouse Vision Revisited by Paul Keith Davis Late July 1994, Bob Jones was told in a revelatory experience that pastor Cho of South Korea had a word from the Lord involving a move of God that would be birthed in Pensacola, FL. He was told that this deposit of God's Spirit would have a threefold relevance. The first anointing would generate repentance. The second would mark a season of establishing righteousness in the hearts of God's people. Right standing with God is fundamentally essential for individuals to be utilized by Him in powerful ways. Although repentance will be a vital component until the end the age, we are now in a passage from repentance into standards of righteousness. And finally, the third application of this word would open the door to power evangelism. There is a present call to maturity within the body of Christ. Writing to the Hebrews, the apostle admonished them to advance beyond the elementary principles into a place of spiritual adulthood. With maturity, we are poised to taste the good word of God and the power of the Kingdom age. Power evangelism is another way of expressing a wave of harvest through demonstrations of God's Spirit and His power. The Lighthouses of God Furthermore, another unique quality of this outpouring of God's Spirit was prophetically symbolized through the establishment of a spiritual "Lighthouse." This allegorical picture portrays a release of the Holy Spirit to establish considerable spiritual "light" in the Gulf Coast region and throughout the Church. There will be a strong emphasis in this aspect of the visitation directed initially toward Church leadership. It will mark a season of healing, restoration and equipping on an escalated level for pastors and leaders. Light is produced by the merger of the Word and Spirit. The letter of the law alone produces death; but mingled with the Spirit it gives Life and Light. This combination generates Light for the lighthouses; these will be the "guardians of the Gulf!" A lofty standard of purity and excellence must be set. Naturally, this will not be the only thing the Lord is doing in our nation. There are various works of God being established throughout the Church each with a quality of its own and yet all vitally necessary. A Day of Restoration We are presently living in a season of restoration. God has remembered His promise from Joel 2:25. In it he declares, "I will restore!" The Lighthouse of God will be a re-establishment of a previous work that was initially built upon solid virtues. However, the adversary somehow entered and caused the early "lighthouse" to lose its effectiveness and thereby extinguish the light needed for "leader-ships" to navigate turbulent times. The revelatory light of God was exchanged for a form of religion that denied God's supernatural power and promoted the precepts of man. This time, there will be a pure demonstration of God's written word and the validation of His Holy Spirit. Jesus is the light of the world and the source of all illumination. Those that follow this light will not walk in darkness but will possess the light of life. (See John 8:12) This aspect of the prophetic word was identified according to Isaiah 33:22. In this passage the prophet declares, the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us — Isaiah 33:22 Schools of the Spirit Spiritual light is often a referral to the inspired Word of God that separates the precious from the profane and the clean from the unclean. The sons of Zadok qualified for this duty by first ministering to the Lord and then functioning in a priestly role to the people. (See Ezekiel 44) It was expressed in the original vision that equipping centers would emerge as a focal point. Schools of ministry that center around the Lord's manifest presence will be established to prepare a fresh ministry model to lead the church into this new millennium. Radical worshiping warriors are being prepared to give articulation to the hidden manna set apart for this age to beckon the militant bride. There will be diverse expressions of this truth but it will all come from a "presence" based emphasis with ministry as an overflow from fellowship with the Lord's Spirit. Healing, deliverance, signs and wonders and diverse miracles will earmark this company of sold out men and women with totally abandoned hearts of devotion. They will be an Isaiah 22:22 company with enlarged capacity in their hearts for the Lord. The revelations of 1994 gave several Scripture references to identify this day. One was Acts 13:22 highlighting David as a token of this form of leadership saying, "He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will." Psalms 89:20 and Isaiah 44:28 were also emphasized to give clarity to the attributes and qualifications sought-after for this form of spiritual leadership. The Lord found David and anointed him for leadership with a Holy anointing. It was also spoken of Cyrus that, "He is My shepherd! And he will perform all My desire.' And he declares of Jerusalem, 'She will be built,' and of the temple, 'Your foundation will be laid." The Overcomers A wonderful virtue is promised to those who overcome and are victorious in this spiritual struggle. They are given access behind the veil to hidden manna set apart for God's strategic timing. (See Revelations 2:17) We have a biblical promise to "taste" the good Word of God and the supernatural power of the kingdom age to come. Hebrews 6 provides evidence of the pyramid of graces and the call to maturity among God's people to function in this noteworthy prophetic fulfillment. The Lord's written word will be illumined with Spirit and Life and utilized as the "light" for the spiritual lighthouse providing direction for the future. A true knowledge of God's mysteries and hidden treasures will be experienced. According to Colossians 2:2-3, "That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. The Lord is revealing His desire to restore the "ancient paths" and the "old temple" which is the lighthouse of God. This work will be mingled with the fresh and unprecedented things set apart for this generation. This anointing will establish the lighthouse that will keep ships, "leader-ship's", from shipwreck in the times to come. It will provide adequate light and illumination for God's leaders to carry their spiritual goods and cargo across to the other shore and imparting life to a needy people. In this fashion, the wine skins are not destroyed nor the precious wine lost. Church history has proven our propensity to squander our spiritualinheritance. The short duration of most revivals is evidence of this fact. In this day there will be a perpetuation and long-term sustaining of our heritage and the fulfillment of God's grand design. Natural Proclaiming the Spiritual As a further validation of this prophetic word, the Mobile newspaper has reported on the construction of a large building directly adjacent to Mobile Bay. The project is called the Battle House Restoration and marks the renovation of an historic site dating back to 1852. The article highlighted the fact that this building will be Alabama's tallest building once complete. Additionally, the author also emphasized that the plan exists for a lighthouse to be mounted on the top of this building with enough light generated to be seen for a great distance. In talking with the builders, I discovered that this decision has not been finalized. Nevertheless, they did indicate that the building will be illuminated at night providing a notable landmark that can be seen well into the Gulf of Mexico. This is the natural proclaiming the spiritual. Heavenly Affections By Shawn Bolz There is a change coming to the whole body of Christ. We are about to enter a season of one of the greatest installments of heaven ever demonstrated in history. Before any great change there is a process of transition that God brings us through. This process brings us to a place of being divinely "undone" with where we have come in life so that we can recognize that we need to get somewhere else even if we don't know how to get there yet. There is also a war right now for the thoughts and hearts of mankind because of the great season of change we are coming into as a body of Christ world wide. God is giving many of us who are forerunning a gift right now; He is allowing everything outside of Himself that we have put hope in to fail us, so that He alone remains. Everything that would tie our minds or hearts to an earthly position, or to a man of God, or in fulfillment that is not unto eternity, will not succeed. Many people are devastated over the failure in one of these areas. The reality is that God will not let the church stay where it is presently and is exposing anything that would get in the way of His love. Bob Jones prophesied that God would begin to take away the general grace that is on the world in 2005. What this meant in my understanding is that everything that sustained us outside of God, even seemingly good things, are being challenged if not totally removed. He also prophesied that those who would walk in intimacy with God would be given a greater grace then the one that was removed. He saw an angel representing "Great Grace" coming to the people of God. Heavenly Viewpoint There is always only two ways of looking at our circumstances. We can see in an earthly way which is usually (if not always) discouraging, or we can look from a heavenly viewpoint. If we see with our earthly eyes but do not have the ability to resolve the circumstance then we will be unsettled and live in anxiety. The culture in this world lives off of anxiety and a number of sicknesses that have been loosed upon us that come from this place of stress. Our natural being is looking for ways to take on our problems and if we don't cast our cares upon God they can get stored up in our physical being or in the realm of our soul. Many people have difficulties ranging from stomach disorders to back pain just because of the way they carry stress in life. Others have bitterness or unforgiveness that becomes energized by the reality of their daily stress. Ultimately, even if they tried to live life at peace, without coming to the Prince of Peace, they are overcome by the way they are carrying this place in their mind and heart. This is also a reason that entertainment can be so destructive because it numbs our pain and allows us to forget the cares of this world if for only a few hours at a time. When the movie is over though, the stress is still laying somewhere within us like a dead weight. People who use entertainment to escape know that it only lasts a short period, much the same way being intoxicated from alcohol will not resolve our pain only delay it. There is a Higher Way Because we were seated with Christ in heavenly places we have an option of how we want to look at life even now. We can look for something to give us a resolution here on earth or we can look to Him to bring a supernatural resolution. Paul knew of the pain and frustration of the church of his day. He addressed this in Colossians by calling them up higher: Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things— Colossians: 3:1-2 There are two steps to this scripture. It deals with our mind AND our heart being focused on things above. In this transition that the body of Christ is in we have to do everything we can to learn the disciplines of setting our affections on things above. Soaking in the Bible, worshipping, seasons of prayer and meditation, spending time in His beauty, cultivating the arts within us, being occupied with righteous work, these are things that tie our affections to heaven. These train our minds and hearts to dwell in the eternal reality of being with Jesus where He is. Physical and Emotional Healings Can Happen in a Sovereign Moment I believe many people are delivered of illness when they just focus from an eternal viewpoint because their physical body does not need to carry their cares anymore. In the same way, if we seek His Kingdom first, then our emotional stings from earthly relationships begin to get resolved in one sovereign moment with God. When we worship, our heart releases its cares to rest in Him. When we memorize scripture our mind thinks with a Christ-like virtue and forgiveness has no place in us and our affections can no longer hold it. This is why its so important to behold Jesus and not the earthly realm. The Provision For the Destiny is More Important Than the Destiny Because He is Our Provision Paul Keith Davis always says "If there is a destiny on earth, then there is a provision in heaven." If this is true, then we can not set our affections and focus on the earthly destiny no matter how awesome it is. At some point the failure of man or our own failure will cause us to look away even if only for a moment from our own promises of destiny on earth or our hopes for this life. We have to begin to set our affections on things above, so that even failure or betrayal can not take away the faith in our hearts over God Himself. He is nothing like man or the best that this earth has to offer. We then need to focus on this provision of heaven that will enable us to cooperate with heaven while still here on earth. Ultimately as we set our minds and hearts on this provision, we will see Him, Jesus. Shawn Bolz at — officeiburn.org The Joy of Remaining By Jennifer Toledo "Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me."—John 15:4 I have often read this verse and repeatedly asked the Lord to teach me how to ‘remain'. Without fail, it seems as though ‘remaining' has been one of the greatest challenges in my busy life. The swirl of daily life often finds me squirming rather than remaining. In my pursuit of learning to remain, I have become so hungry to see true spiritual fruit manifested in my life. In this hour it seems to be the cry of the church as well, especially in the west, that we would come out of our bareness and begin to manifest the rich, powerful, beautiful fruit that we are called to bear. Our cries have been to go beyond all our talk and begin to demonstrate the transforming kingdom of power (see 1 Cor. 4:20). But the only way to bearing such desperately needed fruit is through remaining. Partnership With Heaven In 1 Peter 2:9 we are reminded that we are a "chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." This is our inheritance. We are citizens of heaven, royalty, children of the kingdom, chosen by God to bear fruit on the earth. The church is called to demonstrate supernatural love, healing, provision, council, wisdom, etc. to a desperately needy world. We live in an hour where partnership with heaven is absolutely necessary so that the gospel of power can be demonstrated on the earth. It is the very heart of the Father to see His children walking in the fullness of Christ—so that we can "declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into his wonderful light". Signs and Wonders are one type of fruit that we have the joyful privilege of bearing as we remain in Him. "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." — Mark 16:17-18 As we remain in intimacy with Christ and stand in the faith of who He is—this type of fruit should naturally flow from our lives. The supernatural becomes natural for those who are hidden and remaining in the Source of all power. A Vision of Hope I want to share a vision that the Lord gave me because I believe it is an invitation for us all: In the vision I saw myself standing next to a beautiful lake. It was in the early hours of the morning—the sun had not yet come up and a hazy mist glided over the water. I could see the Lord standing on the other side of the lake. He was so pleasant and full of peace. I asked him why He was here at the lake so early in the morning, and He responded by saying that it was at this time that all the deer came to the drinking hole. I felt such peace there. I knew in my spirit that the water represented the word, and it was in the early hours that the Lord loves to feed his precious flock. I knelt down at the waters edge and cupped my hands scooping the sweet water to my mouth. I could feel the water seep deep into every part of my being and I felt so refreshed. Next, I began to splash water on my face and as I washed my face, I felt cleansed and renewed. The Lord smiled at me from across the lake, and then to my amazement He began to walk on the water. He walked all the way until he reached the middle of the lake. From that place, He began to speak to me—He said, "You know, there are many who have faith that if they drink My water (word) they will be refreshed and their thirst will be satisfied. Also, there are many who have faith that if they wash themselves with My water (My word) they will be cleansed and renewed. But— there are only a very few who actually have faith…. to walk on the water." As He spoke of walking on the water, I immediately understood that by standing on the word (the water) the supernatural becomes possible. He then beckoned me to come my half of the way and meet Him in the middle of the lake. I laughed a little bit as I tapped my barefoot in the water. I said, "Lord…I don't know how to walk on the water…look…my foot is all wet." He told me to forget about my circumstances and to just focus on Him. In obedience, I locked my eyes onto His eyes and began to look deeply into who He is. He then asked me, "What do you see?" I was overwhelmed with waves of His kindness and beauty. Within an instant it was as though I became totally lost in the attributes of His character. As I focused on Him, I forgot about myself and began to speak out what I saw in this man so beautiful and holy. Full of passion, I began to declare-- "You are holy!" "You are beautiful!" You are faithful!" "You are merciful!" "You are sovereign!" "You are not a God that you would lie!" "You are righteous!" etc… Each declaration I made was full of confidence, because as I gazed into His eyes I was overwhelmed with such perfect assurance in His divine nature. The more I saw of Him, the more I forgot about myself and all my fears and doubts and inabilities. I became absolutely lost in His perfect nature and my heart was filled with love and peace. Every time I declared something of His character, I took a step closer to Him. The first few steps were a little tricky and it was tempting to look down at my feet—but I knew the slightest distraction would have me sinking. As I got closer to Him, I could feel faith arising in my heart and each step became easier. My heart was so yearning to be near Him, that I could have cared less that I was walking on water. Once I reached him I threw my arms around Him and just embraced Him. As I did this we instantly began to sink. Shocked and unsure of what was happening I began to flail around in the water. Jesus was so full of peace. He said, "Just hold on to me, we're going under" I had no desire to go under the water, but I trusted Him and wanted to be near Him. We slowly began to sink deeper, deeper, deeper— to a very deep place. It was so quiet and His presence was so strong. Although the water saturated every part of me, I was amazed that I could breathe under the water. I felt like I was hidden in the depths of His heart—consumed with peace and the fear of the Lord. It was in this place that He spoke to me and told me that this is the place where revelation is birthed. I then understood that for those who are willing to get out of the way and lose themselves in who He is; for those who are willing to meet Him in the middle of the lake on His terms; for those who want nothing more than to just be near Him, for those there awaits an invitation into the depths of His heart—the place of intimacy and revelation. This is where we remain; this is where fruit is cultivated in our lives. You see, as believers we are all called to walk on the water. Walking on the water represents doing supernatural acts that are empowered by the Holy Spirit. Signs and wonders are part of our inheritance as Kingdom children. "For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power" — 1 Corinthians 4:20 If we focus on the supernatural act, we'll fall short every time. But when our focus is Jesus alone, we can never fall short and the impossible becomes accomplished. We are living in a day where the church will no longer be shamed with her bareness of power. Our generation will truly see a demonstration of power from on high. Signs and wonders will follow those who believe, and it is the very desire of God to see His Kingdom manifested on the earth. As the floodgates of heaven are bulging—ready to be poured out, we are left to make a choice. Will we be content with just drinking and washing in the word, or will we be ones who walk on the water? For if we are to walk on the water—we must lose ourselves in the beauty of who He is. This is where we are to remain—we remain in Him, in His character, in His nature, in His promises and in His glorious beauty; where the focus is not on us, our gifting, our callings, or our inadequacies— but simply and wholly on Him. We must be ones who choose Him—ones who are more impressed with who He is, than in the signs and wonders He will perform. As we fix our eyes and hearts on the absoluteness of His character—we will see even greater miracles than Jesus saw. Our joy is in the remaining, that is what we were created for. The supernatural fruit that follows is for the joy and glory of the Father. As He is lifted up in this fashion, all men will be drawn unto Him.
