| Furnished With Understanding Bob Jones and Paul Keith Davis The following is a portion of the visions and revelations given through the 1996 Shepherd’s Rod. These messages were preserved on tape but just now put in written form. The spiritual truth in it helps to highlight the issues that will enable us to attain our high calling and walk intimately with Him. That is indeed our prayer... ……………………………………………………………………………………………. Presently, our spiritual house has been somewhat empty. However, the Holy Spirit is releasing understanding to us to “furnish” us with the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and living understanding, hidden in Christ. By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; And by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. (Prov 24:3-4) The “word of knowledge” is an invitation but the “word of wisdom” is the application of it. With understanding we can begin to accomplish God’s purposes and furnish His spiritual house with the treasures of heaven. Our previous lack of “comprehension” has greatly inhibited our ability to be the bright shining light in this dark world. This is beginning to change. The Lord is bringing forth a people of great spiritual understanding that will become beacons of light in the midst of deep darkness. Substantial illumination by the Spirit of Truth will produce this great light. For you light my lamp; the LORD my God illumines my darkness. (Ps 18:28) In 1987, a sign was given in the heaven’s to distinguish this great spiritual truth. The super nova that was discovered is a spiritual sign to us. Shortly after it’s discovery, the scientist observed a brilliant quasar of blue light. The quasar is symbolic of “heaviness” denoting the heavy presence of God’s glory. Heavy glorious light is coming to the church distinguished by these spiritual signs. The heavenly Father is going to unleash great spiritual authority with divine revelation as the hearts of men come into agreement with the purposes of God. This merger or union between heaven and earth will produce the great miracles, signs and wonders prophesied for this generation. When we agree with God, we are in actuality agreeing to love. Through this compassion and divine attributes, we will unleash the great resources of heaven for the vast need of humanity. The miracles, signs and wonders are not the end in themselves but the by product of the expression of divine love through His people. Healing is always birthed through compassion. The scriptures point out, “the heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.” (Ps 19:1) There will begin to be increasing expressions of God’s glory in the church. This will be particularly true in intercessory meetings as divine purposes will be birthed through prayer and travail. These manifestations of intercessory prayer will be visited with measures of divine glory that will increase as we are established in agreement with Him. Many of the storms and heavenly signs will depict the reality of His glory beginning to visit the earth. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. (Ps 96:3-5) Clouds of enlightenment will begin to shine on the church as His countenance is conveyed to us. The LORD bless you, and keep you; The LORD make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace. (Num 6:24-26) An emphasis is being placed upon this prominent divine blessing. We should all be encouraged to continually pray this over our congregation, family, and friends. During this season, we will begin to see an increased measure of the Lord’s enlightenment as His countenance shines upon us, bringing illumination and insight. This will produce the understanding He is desiring to release in the earth. |
